Hello! My name is Julie Keanaaina (they/she/he), and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the states of Oregon and Washington. I see individuals (ages 18+) for both in-person and virtual sessions.

Are you a good clinical fit?

I specialize in identity work, which encompasses individuals facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, body dysmorphia, gender dysphoria, eating disorders, or major life transitions and traumas. Working with me will be collaborative, involving rituals, learning, and will have a focus on growth.

I am open to feedback and willing to hear how I can improve. I embrace the concept of learning from mistakes and stand against the pursuit of perfection. I believe that healing takes place within relationships, not isolation, and that the most effective personal growth occurs within communities. I am committed to combating oppression and actively strive to be anti-sexist, anti-racist, anti-ableist, and to dismantle any other systemic forms of oppression.

My Approach

In therapy, I utilize a range of modalities, including Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems, Structural Family Therapy, Feedback-Informed Treatment, and Mindfulness-based Therapy.

I look forward to working with you!
