Natalie Goldfarb, LCSW, CADCI

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

  • I earned my bachelors degree in Global Studies with a minor in Sustainability from Arizona State University in 2013. I later earned my masters in Social Work from Portland State University in 2021. Completing grad school in the height of the pandemic allowed me to enhance skills of connecting with patients via telehealth. While in grad school I also received the Behavioral Health Integration Project grant to focus on working with those with medical concerns at the intersection with mental health.

My work in the field began in 2017 at Volunteers of America’s Men’s residential center for substance abuse treatment for men in the criminal justice system. This is where I got the opportunity to obtain my Alcohol and Drug Counselor 1 certification (CADC I) to guide clients through treatment as part of their probation or parole. Since then, my work continued to focus on higher levels of care including working with adolescents and families at Discovery Mood and Anxiety Disorder partial hospitalization program and intensive outpatient. My most recent employment was with Portland Mental Health and Wellness’s general adult and LGBTQ specific Intensive Outpatient Program. These experiences would make me a good fit for people who have completed higher levels of care and are looking to step down to outpatient treatment.
