Individual Therapy

We offer person-centered, values-based mental health care prioritize the individual's needs, preferences, and values. Clients are seen as experts on their own experiences and are actively involved in decision-making. Therapists create a supportive, non-judgmental environment to explore thoughts and feelings. We emphasize collaboration and empowerment to support clients in living authentically.

Does your anxiety spike whenever you head out of the house? Are you struggling to spend time with family due to feeling sad and down? Are you burnout at work?

Our therapists know how important your goals and dreams are to you. Feeling good about yourself is essential to showing up confidently in your life, work, or relationships. But so many day-to-day stressors or huge life events can get in the way of that. That's where we come in.

We get that it might feel awkward or uncomfortable to talk about your most intimate thoughts and feelings with a professional (stranger). Don't worry, we'll ease into the hard topics and make it as comfortable as possible for you. We're dedicated to building trust and bringing you the best care possible.

We never want to make assumptions, so we'll start the therapy process by gathering information about what's happening for you right now and what you'd like to focus on. This may be centered on things like dating, sex, burnout, or traumatic events from the past.

How the process works

  • You’ll fill out a quick form and have a brief exchange with our admin team. They will learn more about you and what services you are looking for. their goal is to help find a therapist that matches your unique concerns. You have have an option to have a brief 15-minute phone consult with the therapist you’d like to see OR we will schedule your intake appointment, if the therapist does not ask for an initial meet-and-great consult.

2.

  • You’ll fill out an extensive questionnaire packet and send that back to your therapist a week ahead of your appointment so they can prepare. All questionnaires will be send to you through the patient portal.

3.

  • Services begin with an Assessment that usually last 50-55 minutes. Your clinician will talk with you about your current situation, as you about your history, and make a recommendation for services. A “treatment plan” will be developed together that outlines how services will go and what outcomes are expected. Therapy appointments usually last between 45-55 minutes with the frequency of weekly to less than weekly. Expect the frequency of visits to decrease as symptoms improve.

4.

  • Services are usually 45-55 minutes in length. These are sessions where we’ll look at what’s come up and how you’ve been feeling since we last met. We’ll integrate various interventions targeting your treatment plan goals. We’ll consider what’s working well for you and what isn’t, and refine your plan. We might set specific goals for you in between sessions.
