Hello. My name is Yoonhui (pronounced Yoon-hee) Choe, and I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in the state of Oregon. I see individuals (ages 18+) for virtual sessions.

Are you a good clinical fit?

Navigating the challenges of anxiety, depression, mood swings, and stress requires a compassionate approach grounded in understanding and expertise. I specialize in these areas, aiming to offer relief and support through personalized medication management. With 19 years of experience, my practice focuses on understanding your unique experience, providing a safe space where we can work together to address not only the symptoms but also the root causes of your distress. By fostering a collaborative and empathetic environment, we will work as a team to improve your mental health and enhance your quality of life.

My Approach

My treatment philosophy centers on personalized care utilizing evidence-based treatments including prescription medications, OTC supplements, and therapy. I believe in treating the whole person as our physical health and environment plays a role in our emotional and mental health. I encourage my patients to ask questions and be active in the evaluation and treatment. I will take the time to listen and incorporate your treatment preferences into our overall care plan. I like to empower my patients with tools and knowledge to improve their quality of life and bring about a sense of balance. This may include aspects of cognitive behavioral therapy, stress management, dialectical behavioral therapy, sleep hygiene, mindfulness, physical activity, and nutrition.

I look forward to working with you.
