Group Therapy

Self-Compassion

This group is designed to support you in developing a more compassionate inner-voice. Together, we will explore how avoidance and self-criticism cause additional suffering, and how to recognize and break these habits. Through experiential practice, you will discover what techniques work best for you as you learn to sit with difficult emotions and body sensations. Most importantly, you will learn strategies to be kinder to yourself and bring the transformative power of self-compassion into your daily life.

This mindfulness-based group is based on Mindful Self-Compassion research and practices. Practices will include journaling, meditation, reflection and sharing.
